WALK THE WASH
SERVING OUR UNHOUSED NEIGHBORS
Walk the Wash is a four-hour experience on a Saturday morning that will include simple training and going out in teams into the riverbed/surrounding areas to serve our unhoused neighbors with compassion
MARCH 21ST | 8AM-NOON
WHAT WE WILL DO
Join us to serve our neighbors and pray with those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty throughout Santa Clarita.
This 4 hour event will include a time of training and walking in teams to distribute care kits and offer prayer to individuals in or near the river bed in Santa Clarita.
In addition to starting friendships with individuals on the street, one of the best parts of this event is the fellowship that happens in the process as we go-out to serve our neighbors together, in Jesus name.
The week following this event, the shower trailer will be available at different resource spots in our city , along with toiletry items, a hot meal, and an encouraging testimony.
This allows us to not only offer immediate help as we walk, but also point our friends on the street to additional and timely resources that will be available.
